Since opening an office in Springfield, Ohio in the fall of 2018, The Bainbridge Firm has had the pleasure of actively serving the Springfield and surrounding areas by providing legal services related to workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, Veteran’s benefits, and OPERS/PERS disability claims.
Springfield is the county seat of Clark County, Ohio, and is situated along the Mad River, Buck Creek, and Beaver Creek. Many of Springfield’s first settlers came from Kentucky and its earliest industries were related to agriculture, agricultural manufacturing, and textile mills. In the 1800s, Springfield was one the largest producers of farm machinery in the United States. One of the city’s most popular nicknames is Champion City, which comes from the Champion reaper farming equipment produced in the city in the 1800s. In addition to its rich agricultural history, Springfield also left a mark on aviation when Harry Toulmin, a local patent attorney, wrote the first “flying machine” application that was granted to the Wright brothers in 1906.
Springfield is home to several historic places, including the Clark County Heritage Center, Pennsylvania House, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wescott House, and the South Fountain Historic District. The greater Springfield area is also home to several other attractions such as Buck Creek State Park, Snyder Park, Mad River Gorge and Nature Preserve, Hartman Rock Garden, Heritage Center Museum, Springfield Museum of Art, and Heart of Ohio Antique Center.
The Bainbridge Firm’s Springfield office is located at 1021 North Limestone Street and is just .5 miles away from Wittenberg University. It has been a pleasure serving Springfield and the surrounding areas since we opened our local office nearly two years ago and we look forward to advocating for members of the community in the future. If you or a loved one has been injured at work or needs assistance in a disability claim, please contact the workers’ compensation attorneys in Springfield, stop by during business hours, or contact any of our other six local offices.
