Biography

Born and raised in Upper Arlington, Ohio, Katie has deep roots in the central Ohio community she now proudly serves. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1998 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University in 2002. Katie then attended Capital University Law School, where she distinguished herself academically and graduated Order of the Curia in 2005.

With more than 20 years of dedicated workers’ compensation experience, Katie brings a seasoned and steady presence to The Bainbridge Firm. Throughout her career, she has focused exclusively on advocating for injured workers and guiding them through the often-complex processes of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Katie provides thoughtful, strategic advice on all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and represents her clients at hearings before every level of the Industrial Commission. Her extensive knowledge, practical insight, and client-centered approach make her a trusted advocate for individuals navigating difficult and unfamiliar circumstances.

Katie is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association, and she is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Katie resides in Upper Arlington with her husband and their two children. Outside the office, she remains engaged in her local community and enjoys supporting the schools and organizations that shaped her early years.
