It’s been all over the news lately and this is good to some bad to others.
Our government will be voting to overturn current policy that requires individuals that receive Social Security disability benefits for a mental health related reason, including depression or an eating disorder, and who require a representative payee to assist in managing their finances, to be reported to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System. Not only must it be reported but once reported, said individual will lose their right to bear arms (2nd amendment).
This vote has sailed through the senate passing 57-43 and is on its way to the President’s office for approval.
Know what changes your government is making, spread the word and stay informed.
